The Draeger Sensor XS EC OV 6809115 is designed for reliable detection of organic gases and vapors, providing stable performance even in challenging conditions. With low-maintenance electrochemical technology, calibration is simple and infrequent, reducing downtime.
DrägerSensor XS OV – 6809115
This sensor is particularly suited to detect leakages of a variety of organic gases and vapors. While it does not cover as broad a spectrum as a PID sensor, it offers the key advantage of being almost completely insensitive to moisture. Calibration is required only every six months, typical for electrochemical sensors. For most gases, a single calibration using ethylene oxide automatically calibrates the sensor for other gases. Exceptions include ethyne, tetrahydrofuran, and diethyl ether, which must be calibrated using the specific target gas.

Large range of gases
Draeger XS Electrochemical Sensor are designed to detect over 100 different gases and vapors, offering dependable performance with extended calibration intervals and strong reliability.
Internal development
Every sensor is designed and built in-house by Dräger, ensuring consistent quality and reliable measurement performance. When paired with Dräger’s own gas detection devices, the sensors deliver their full potential.
Smart technology
Smart technology stores all sensor-specific data—like temperature compensation, measurement range, calibration interval, and gas type—directly in the sensor’s memory. XS sensors can be easily swapped between the Pac III and Dräger X-am 7000 devices without any reconfiguration.
